Introducing Stocky
Stocky is the talented wood turner (and good friend) behind the exquisite Retro Soul Design lamp bases. Stocky is an avid surfer/fisherman who maintains an almost zen balance of a life leaning more towards lifestyle than work.

Our fabrics are a tight mix of rare vintage, in-house designed, as well as a small handful of stunning designs painstakingly sourced.
Collaborations series…
We have started an exciting collaboration series with top New Zealand artists. Each artist designs a graphic which showcases their particular style which is then printed onto fabric and hand made into a stunning shade.
This series has been kicked off with none other than Shane Hansen, a highly successful highly sort after master of the Kiwiana genre. Shane’s Koru design is a beautiful balance of form and flow and looks absolutely stunning on one of RSD’s sculptured lamp bases. Watch this space!
